Gypsy crossing boutique

Gypsy Crossing is a boutique located in Newberg Ace Hardware. Not many people know that Ace Hardwares are individually owned stores. Because they are individually owned, many Ace Hardwares have knick-knacks and trinkets that you will not find anywhere else; they feature local artists, inventors and other surprises.

In 2009, Newberg Ace Hardware decided to add a small gifts and home decor section to their growing shop. Six years later, they added clothes, shoes, jewelry, and bras (a different kind of hardware). It was branded Gypsy Crossing. The owners of Newberg Ace Hardware, Mark and Betty Jo, think of themselves as modern-day gypsies. They appreciate art, food, wine and music; and they live to travel and experience other cultures.

Gypsy Crossing's customers are also thought of as Gypsies. They are constantly traveling and sharing their #gypsyadventures with the sales associates. They are woodworkers, DIYers, musicians, painters, fashionistas, jewelry makers, house flippers, Airbnb hosts, and some even own Gypsy horses. 

This unique store brings rustic fashion, design & warmth to the heart of the Willamette Valley.

To cross a gypsy is a beautiful encounter. Their trade is the world. They are craftsmen of culture, art, home-curated gifts & travel. Every city is a destination and a piece of home. To keep our eyes and ears open, our hearts optimistic, and our creativity always blooming. Even when customers are not in the boutique, we want them to have the opportunity to dance with us and stay in the Gypsy-mindset.
